A four-member delegation from IB took part in the YES Forum’s Annual Conference and General Assembly held in the Netherlands. The event left a strong impression on the participants, particularly due to the inspiring presentations and project examples addressing youth poverty, following a welcome speech by the regional minister. Notably, the YES Forum has strengthened its role as a recognized stakeholder in European civil society through its membership in the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)—a platform where only a limited number of organizations working directly with and for young people are represented.
The YES Forum is a European network of youth and social work organizations. They work towards a Europe where all young people—regardless of their background—have the skills, opportunities, and support they need to fulfil their potential. The network brings together organizations and professionals to share knowledge, develop innovative approaches, and advocate for the rights and needs of young people. YES Forum plays an active role in influencing EU legislation, policy, and funding processes related to youth and social inclusion. At the same time, they support their member organizations through collaboration, capacity-building, and joint initiatives across Europe.
We are proud as IB to be re-elected to the YES Forum board.
