Background
Vocational Training in an External Institution – Integrative (BaE-I) is an active labour market (ALM) measure and consists of a socio-educational accompanied vocational education program within the German dual system. The target group of BaE-I measure is young people who cannot enter the labour market due to lack of or insufficient professional skills.
Objective
The objective of the project is to provide assistance to the Regional Employment Agency in the development of measure BaE-I. Ultimately the measure aims to integrate young people into the labour market through of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in multiple professional sectors.
BaE-I is related to different levels of the German/European Qualification Framework. The German Employment Agency applies the education standards set by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWI), the Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the Chambers of skilled crafts, and the Federal states. The BMBF is responsible to assign the skills and qualifications to the NQF/EQF.
