Through its International Migration Services (IMS) department, the Internationaler Bund (IB), together with its partners in various countries, recruits skilled workers, particularly in the fields of healthcare and nursing, as well as education, hospitality and gastronomy.

For the healthcare sector, recruitment takes place exclusively in countries that are not on the WHO list and thus have a surplus of healthcare professionals.

In addition to recruitment, the IMS take on various tasks related to the labor migration process. Among other things, the IMS mediate between authorities like consulates and skilled workers to facilitate the processes required for migration.

Since 2020, the IB IMS have been establishing cooperational ties with Colombia and also actively recruiting professionals from Colombia. Therefore, the IMS team met with the General Consul of Colombia, Mr. Lennin Gell Hernández Alarcón, in order to discuss the needs and processes of professionals from Colombia.
