The Internationaler Bund (IB) is starting a cooperation with the Universidad San Ignacio del Loyola (USIL) in Peru – USIL - in order to build international bridges between Peru and Germany. The collaboration will help to broaden perspectives on labour migration in the areas of hospitality, health professions, as well as other areas of work.

The @Internationaler Bund (IB) celebrates the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the @Universidad San Ignacio del Loyola (USIL) Peru during a visit of the Grand Chancellor of the USIL University at the @IB Hotel in Frankfurt. With this MOU, signed by representatives of both organisations, Ramiro Salas and Richard Schottdorf, we commit ourselves to offer job perspectives to the personnel from hospitality industry, health professions as well as other areas in Germany.

Not only due to its extensive knowledge in integration processes and its vast experience in education for all ages, the IB is a strategic partner for Latin America. With our international migration service, we can build a bridge between German employers and young Peruvians who have the intention to work in Germany.

The USIL has a long history in the areas of hospitality industry. It also has a language department, which offers German courses for students who wish to participate in our project.  We will work hand in hand to overcome language barriers and offer secure and stable job perspectives, as well as to explore other areas of work in the future.

Combating the shortage of skilled workers also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as documented in the latest sustainability report of the German Government. The measures to attract skilled workers are a contribution to the implementation of the Sustainability Goal of SDG 3, 4, 8, 10 & 17.
