Since 1995 the IB Georgia Mthiebi Boarding School is operating in Tbilisi, Georgia. Currently, more than 1300 pupils are attending class . With its size, its consistency from pre-school to upper school, its central location and especially its intensive German and English lessons for all age groups, it has many unique selling points in Tbilisi and the whole of Georgia. Due to the current worldwide corona pandemic, Georgia is currently subject to curfews, so that teaching is completely digital.
The school is a member of the Union of Private Schools of Georgia, holder of ISO 9001: 2015 International Quality Management Standard and ISO 45001: 2018 Certificates of Labor and Health Safety Standard. The school is authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. In 2018 the IB Mthiebi school received the Permanent Leader Award from the Swiss National Rating Union under the auspices of the Swiss Rating Association.
The mission of the boarding school IB Mthiebi is the intellectual, psycho-emotional and physical development of the children and youth. The educational, training and material resources of the boarding school give the pupils the opportunity to receive the education provided by the Georgian National Curriculum and modern western educational models in a liberal social environment.
