The City of Krakow has introduced an innovative housing initiative aimed at improving the living conditions of professionally active residents who are not eligible for social housing assistance. The Social Rental Agency (SAN), operated by the IB Polska Foundation, is now recruiting participants interested in taking advantage of its housing offer. Through the program, 50 apartments will be made available for rent on preferential terms. Beyond housing support, participants will also benefit from mandatory career coaching and social counseling, ensuring that the initiative not only addresses accommodation needs but also fosters personal and professional development. A press conference dedicated to the launch of SAN was held on Tuesday, September 16. The event brought together key city representatives, including Mayor Aleksander Miszalski, Deputy Mayor Maria Klaman, and Grzegorz Grzonka, Deputy Director of the IB Polska Foundation, who jointly highlighted the importance of the program for Krakow’s urban development and social policy. The Social Rental Agency project is implemented at the request of the City of Krakow and co-financed with support from European funds.
