"Building Bridges - Potentials & tools"

During the first work phase IO 1 "Building Bridges - Potentials & tools" we looked at the issue of communication/collaboration between the younger and experienced youth workers (juniors and seniors).

  • What are the differences between juniors and seniors?
  • How to improve the communication / cooperation between juniors and seniors to avoid misunderstandings?

In the reports of the partner organisations you will find

  • the potential maps of the younger and experienced youth work professionals
  • Approach of the partners
  • Recommendations, methods or templates for other organisations that want to address the issue of communication/collaboration between younger and experienced youth workers.

With the framework "How to build a bridge between the generations?" we would like to support organisations who work in the youth, social field and education, vocational training to deal with these questions and to find ways for a good cooperation between Juniors and Seniors. How can one find a good way to reach that aim? The answer is as simple as complex: By building a bridge between younger (Junior) and “older”, more experienced (Senior) youth workers.
In the framework "Building Bridges-Potentials & Tools, How to build a bridge between the generations?" you can find several methods for:

  • raising the awareness on generational issues
  • identifying the potentials of Juniors & Seniors
  • visualising them with a potential maps
